Note, if you have a GPS / Sattelite Navigation system, you will need to put in 316 S. Newport Ave instead of 401. You will also be looking on the other side of the street for the numbers 401 on the front post of the smaller yellow duplex / quadraplex. Hoblit is unit B one unit back up the alley way. (If you spin the street view around to a south western view on google maps you will be able to see the duplex and alley)
Hoblit lives in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Tampa near downtown. Using mapping software you'll find that Hoblit also lives very close to the district known as Ybor City as its just a hop, skip, and a jump from his dwelling. Tampa does have a bus system but its not real thorough and does not run nearly as frequently as most major cities. However it can be useful with enough planning. While hailing a cab is possible within its several city centers such as Downtown, Channelside, and Ybor City areas, its best to keep United Cab's number handy.
Hoblit's Hideaway hosts Bread Box Studios and is equipped with full working P.A. system, drums as well as guitar, bass and even an acoustic guitar. (See equipment link for more) Practice for the event will be held there the day/night before on Friday. Practice times will be decided as more artists sign up and commit to the event. Practices will end at 8:30pm sharp.
